G-Shot

What is The G-Shot?

The G-SHOT® also known as G-Spot Amplification® is a quick, nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can augment the Grafenburg spot (G-Spot) in sexually active women with normal sexual function.

GSA is a patent pending method of amplifying or augmenting the G-Spot with a human engineered collagen, specifically, an FDA approved collagen. To make this collagen, it is carefully treated and preserved, and is then supplied to physicians in a form that can be injected. The collagen is a natural, biological substance. The collagen is typically processed gastrocnemius fascia. The FDA approved collagen is a specially developed and processed collagen which doesn’t require pre-injection skin testing like most available collagen products on the market.

This was invented and developed by \ gynecologist David Matlock, MD, MBA, FACOG.  In his pilot study, 87% of women reported enhanced sexual arousal/gratification. Results do vary.

How long does The G-Shot last?
The affect can last for up to 6 months, and does vary.

Is it safe?
G Spot Amplification™ or G-Shot is not an approved use of collagen by the FDA and is an off-label use. However, filler injection into the vagina has been performed for many years for the treatment of a condition called intrinsic sphincter deficiency (ISD) which primarily affects elderly women.

How is it done?
This is an in office procedure performed with a local anesthesia.  A speculum is used to assist, much like when getting a pap smear. Then the area is numbed topically, and then injection is done, usually takes less than a minute or two, and the total office visit time is usually less than 30 minutes. The G-Shot® augments (enlarges) the G-Spot. This results in a G-Spot about the size of a quarter in width, and one fourth of an inch in height (meaning the projection into the vagina). Note that results do vary.
